We went to a party
It was in Dundee. There was a free bar on Microsoft’s tab, and it was in celebration of Crackdown 2′s launch. It was good. Big thanks to Dean and Sean for letting me and Alex tag along, we had a great night!
We have pals
They kindly took on review duties for us this month. Mentazm gets his thumbs into PS3 exclusive Demons Souls while Krystal play 360 exclusive Alan Wake with the lights off.
We’ll be back
Hopefully within a reasonable length of time, sorry this one has taken so long folks, we’ve just been busy.
We want your feedback
Get a comment to us via any of the means provided, giving your take on anything we’ve discussed, even if you just want to call us out for being wrong – we want to read your emails & comments and respond to them on the show. Don’t be shy!
We got tunes

See, unlike most people I’ve waited patiently for the next Gamewank episode and haven’t pestered both of you at all.
Another cracking episode, Mentazm’s review of Demon Souls NEEDS a Mogwai backing track. Let’s face it, if they’re willing to soundtrack a film about Zidane then they can surely supply something for Ian.
Krystal is obviously better at Alan Wake than I was, I kept running out of ammo all the bloody time hence the combat pissed me off most of the time.
Alex scares me, please make me aware if I’m ever in the same room as that man.
Oh hi there.
That was rather good.
Damn right about Tales of Monkey Island being cheaper on PS3. It’s about £12 more expensive off of Steam. It’s a bloody brilliant game though. I miss the old days of point and click adventures like Beneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword and such. It’s definitely something that’s lacking in the current gaming landscape.
The discussion on the Portal gun caused me to burst out laughing on the bus to work this morning. Fantastic episode! Alex is a….unique man.
Haha, Don’t listen to Ric – keep doing the “Wut’s yoor gae’m” back and forth catchphrase bit, it’s fucking brilliant and it never fails to put a smile on my face! The fame is going to Ric’s head!
Good show though, Portal bit way well good.
But I gotta say guys – I think you were a bit generous with the Crackdown 2 review. Yeah it’s a fun game and that – but it’s essentially Crackdown 1, you could play the 30 minute demo infinitely and THAT is basically the whole game/story!
Anyway, good show – make more you lazy fuckers!
Hey guys
When are we gonna hear the second part of Richie’s metroid wankfest? Also, enjoyed the guest reviews, but for god sake tell mentasm to get a better mike and slow down a bit, it sounded like he recorded his bit with a singstar mike that was stuck up his arse.
(also, ignore the identical comment on the first episode, i cocked up)
HELLO YOU CRAZY WELSH BASTARDS!
I was recommended your podcast by a very close penpal and have to say found it most humourus, most humourus indeed. I was actually ironing at the time and was laughing so hard at the selfsodomisation section I didn’t realise I had picked up the cat who was sleeping on the unironed pile and took the iron right across his back like some hilarious Pépe lePew sketch. My wife was all like, “WHAT THE FUCK!” and I was all like, “EEeeeeeeeee” but it’s cool he was old and we were thinking about getting a dog anyway.
Kudos to your reviews aswell. I’m currently working my way through Alan Wake and was thinking about giving up because the dood seems like such a cunt but your reviewer convinced me to see it through. And the Demon Souls review. Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good too. I love that game the same way I love my father who beats me.
So yeah. Keep up the good work and hopefully I’ll speak to some of you Welsh cunts soon.
Peace UP!
