Games
In this edition we discuss Summer of Arcade titles From Dust and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Puzzle Quest 2 and, at the insistence of Richie who cried until I put it on the agenda, Solar Jetman.
Calendar
Gamescom has recently finished up, but it was barely half way during recording and we were just in time to discuss Steel Battalion and the newly announced budget priced PSP and slimmed down Wii. Also, after footage of the event leaked all over YouTube from QuakeCon, we discuss Bethesda’s Skyrim presentation in Texas.
Competiton – Photoshop Fitbaw
As detailed in the episode, we’re looking for people to come up with game boxes or screenshots for ridiculous “x Fitbaw” videogames. Imagine something like Final Fantasy Fitbaw or Left4Dead 5-a-side, some utterly incomprehensible marriage of any videogame/series/genre with football and send us your mock ups. Entries will feature in the second ever piece of Gamewank video content and the winner, as said, will receive a £10 Amazon voucher and a lovely piece of artwork by Richie.
You can send your images to us via the Facebook page, tweet them to @gamewank_jim, @laslo_panaflex or @KrystalSim with the hashtag #photofitbaw, or by good ol’ fashioned email to photofitbaw@gamewank.com.
