We came. We saw. We came again.
Eurogamer 2011 was a triumph as far as we’re concerned – especially compared to previous years. This show felt like an important industry event, a far cry from the first one we attended in 2009 which felt like an HSBC conference with joypads.
Glands On
In this first part of a monster expo double episode, we give our hands on impressions of:
- Id’s semi open-world shooter RAGE
- Upcoming Wii adventure The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
- And of course, Bethesda’s hotly anticipated RPG to end all RPGs, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
John Live
We interview Onlive’s VP of games and media, John Spinale, about the problems faced by the gaming industry and how cloud gaming is set to solve them.
Playstation Vita
We got our manky palms on Sony’s PSP successor, stroked its gorgeous touch screen and thumbed its filthy twin sticks until we were asked to leave.
The Plimptons
Playing us out this week, Glasgow DIY pop 6-piece The Plimptons with brand new track “Be Expected”. Check them out here!
Part two out soon!
